MENTAL HEALTH, ANXIETY & STRESS 

Studies have shown that Acupuncture is twice as effective in treating anxiety & depression symptoms as conventional medicine (pharmaceuticals & psychotherapies). 

 

We now know that Acupuncture improves the body's ability to cope with stress through multiple components. From the first treatment, Acupuncture signals the brain to turn off our 'fight or flight' response and causes a release of endorphins, the body's feel-good chemicals. This creates the 'acupuncture buzz' that my clients often mention.

 

In the long term, regular Acupuncture strengthens our 'heart rate variability', meaning the heart's ability to respond to stress appropriately, leading to less long-term anxiety and stress. 

 

We have a passion for mental health treatment. Western medicine often lacks foundational support for our mental wellbeing, and she finds traditional Chinese medicine can help provide those answers.â €
